I'm not afraid of autumn, and her sorrow, for I'll remember April and you.
The weather is changing on our planet, no doubt about that. Although the two terms are sometimes confused, "global warming" is what leads to "climate change." The former is more or less predictable - i.e., the Arctic Circle is melting at a certain rate. The latter, however, caused by the former - and no one really knows how our climate will change. One thing is for sure - the April weather of yesteryear will not be like the April weather of tomorrow.
CHORUS
This lovely day will lengthen into evening We'll sigh good-bye to all we've ever had Alone where we have walked together I'll remember April and be glad.... I'll be content, you loved me once in April, Your lips were warm, and love and spring were new, But I'm not afraid of autumn, and her sorrow, For I'll remember April and you The fire will dwindle into glowing ashes, For flames and love live such a little while I won't forget, but I won't be lonely I'll remember April, and I'll smile
